So I came back yesterday from a nice weekend with my sister in Providence. We had a lot of fun and I did a lot of sketching too! YAY! Here is a selected grouping of that batch of sketches.

I also do apologize for the not so nicely edited scans. I am with out photoshop for a few days on this computer so I tried to fix these up with preview, which is like using my left hand. A bit awkward...

I should make little things like this more often, but this idea has been stuck in my head all day yesterday. I was just thinking of how when you are a kid you think boys who are artsy are just so totally cool, then (especially if you go to art school) you learn that they are really stuck up and overly pretentious. I think art school is the reason why I feel like I should kick every guy in the pants...well maybe except for a few, a very select few...

I'm reading A Game of Thrones right now. Its so good! The way its written you can really get into the characters minds. Daenerys and Jon so far are my favorites!

Oh and plus on CS5 there are these brushes that move JUST LIKE A REAL BRUSH! I have so much fin playing around with them!

So I got a new computer today!! my old one was about 6 years old and just reallly slow with EVERYTHING! So this new one has OSX Lion..and apparently does not support CS2 or even Painter 9 which really stinks! Any how I am testing out CS5 for now and I love it. It works even better with my tablet or maybe its because this computer has lightning speed..Who knows but...Yeah...

Reading "The Eye of the World". I like it a lot so far..although I get really excited when i read and i get really distracted by my own excitement by this book that it's taking a while to get through the beginning.
